On Saturday 12/8/2017, the JCH&PS 45th Anniversary Dinner will be held at Jenolan Caves House in the Kanangra-Boyd room. Pre-dinner drinks start at 6pm with all to be seated by 6:30pm for dinner. We will be viewing items from Wiburd’s personal collection on the night, including a showing of his glass slides, by Wiburd himself! The Post Office Museum and archives will be open at the weekend, plus we have arranged a JCH&PS cave tour Saturday afternoon. See the Events page for more details.
If you didn’t know already, Penrith Panthers in Sydney is about to be home to the biggest speleological congress ever held in Australia, being hosted by the Australian Speleological Federation. The International Congress of Speleology will have almost 500 attendees from around 45 countries in attendance and runs from 23rd-29th July 2017. One of the field trips being held on Wednesday is to Jenolan, which has proved very popular amongst attendees. JCH&PS will also be opening the museum on this day. As part of the Congress on Wednesday 26th July from 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm there will be a Public Open Night for the entire Exhibition Marquee, at Panthers to which you are most welcome to visit.
